Hello.
I saw many nearly same problems to the TCU.
But i dont saw a solution.
I got my Ford from the Car Dealer as used. My TCU has since this time not worked and also is missing screws.
It looks, someone played with it.
How ever, it is also the LR3T-14G087-VE. It is detected by Forscan. But it cannot read the Firmware and neither can program it.
If i try to use the cennectivy settings in FordPass, it tells me turn ignition on. But it ist already on.
DTC says: U0198 Communication Failure.
Is there a chance to get it working again? Or, Maybe i overread a Solution by tons of Posts in many Boards?!
