Can anyone tell me what does this change in the RTM module exactly do?

Reading here (https://rangerclub.uk/blog/ford-ranger-remote-start) it seems it is to allow remote start from the key fob.

I don’t quite remember anymore, but I think it was related to 433 or 434 MHz. If your key has the same frequency as the original, then you don’t need to change the values.

My Chinese key works without me having to change the value, but another key needed a value change on my friend’s car.

I programmed two Chinese keys working on 433.92MHz, my original keys works on exactly the same frequency (tested on frequency tester), and newly added keys don't work wirelessly, I think it must be something else I'll check tomorrow if I change this value in RTM, did the Chinese ones will work.

Hey guys
Managed to activate the remote start, on dash, there's is the remote start option. Everything is on auto and System is , but when remote starting the engine, the actually heating and heated steering wheel or seat, don't start. Outside temperature about 8-9°.
Any ideas why, or what should I do?

Hi, I own a S-Max2 2019, I have had a working remote start since summer. Everything was fine until now in the cold there was a problem. At temperatures below zero, the car will not start using the remote start. Starting from the cabin is no problem. I found that when starting from the cabin, the glow starts first and after a few seconds the car starts. With remote start, the car does not start the glow and starts right away. Any idea how to program the remote start glow to turn on for a few seconds before starting?

Does anyone know the answer for it? Does the car starts the same way as you start it with the button inside, or the glow session missed?
I asked it about the winter. Without glow plg, it will not start.

It seems to work properly in the cold weather. Glow plug first and after couple second the car starts. I dont see any difference between push button and remote start.

Hi, I drive a Mondeo 2.0 Ecoblue 190hp 2020. I bought it new, here in Bulgaria. I also activated remote start with a key, but I also noticed that at a temperature of -10g. the glow plugs are not working and the car does not start! After a long search on various specialized sites, I came to the information that Ford Europe does not have an option to sell remote start keys for diesel Fords! But, mine has a TCU Module and accordingly I activated and use FordPass! I noticed that when starting cold, even at sub-zero temperatures from the FordPass application, the glow plugs are turned on and starts without a problem! So, a diesel Ford from Europe and remote start with a key at sub-zero temperatures, rather not!!!
