Missing DDM & PDM Modules - 2017 Raptor / OBDLink MX

Hello - - Posted this over int he connectivy/adapeters and was referred here... Have used forscan successfully on my 2017 F150 Raptor to change many option under the BodyControl Module. I do have access to 3 other modules, but do not have access (or even see as an option) the DDM and PDM modules. Using a win10 machine, many reboots and believe all software/firmare is up to date.

I recently purchased an OBDLink MX Bluetooth and could use some help trying to retrieve modules with FORScan.

Using this with a Windows 10 64-Bit machine on a 2017 Ford Raptor.

Which software are you using (name + version)? FORScan 2.3.7 beta & ODBwiz

Problem = After establishing connecting with vehicle I am not seeing the DDM or PDM modules
- OBDWiz shows ECM and TMC only. Attached image provided for reference.
- FORSCAN shows many modules but not DDM or PDM. Attached image provided for reference.

Tried various connection settings for ELM327 and J2534. Currently have ELM327 set to Auto and J2534 set to Dedicated channel.

Was able to write to other modules found.

Tried removing OBLink and power cycling. Checked firmware update.

Rebooted PC.

Not sure on next move.

Thanks for any help. OBDLink forum appears useless for support.

Your OBDII adapter must be used with FORScan to program your Ford's operating features. OBDWiz is only meant to be used to monitor vehicle operation and check DTCs. Not having access to a Raptor I can't verify any possible connection issues but my MX Bluetooth connects instantly, and brings up 24 modules in my 2016 XLT in about one minute on a Win10 laptop.

I am also not seeing the PDM/DDM modules. Only difference is I'm using the USB MX connector on a 2017 F350 Platinum. I never installed the OBDWiz tool, just Forscan and I've also optimized the connection getting a much higher 20000000 baud rate and 2ms latency.

What OBDII adapter are you using? All I see is the HSCAN section. I'm using https://www.amazon.ca/ScanTool-425801-O ... B005ZWM0R4. I lied above, apparently it was the SX, not the MX. Mine is USB.

I just ordered the MX. Wish I had understood this before I bought the first so I could have my programming done on my week home, but oh well, guess I can wait another 3 weeks.

It's weird, because it says that it supports all OBD protocols, but I don't see HSCAN2 or 3 in my list that I see in yours.

Newer US Fords (maybe others) have the HS-CAN2 and HS-CAN3 buses. See this topic for more details

Technically OBDII only covers engines and emissions controls (PCM module). Other modules use a similar protocol but are not covered by OBDII.
