update STN 1170: - from https://www.scantool.net/scantool/downl ... -5.0.0.zip

communication port must be set to COM 1 - 3 (set in Device Manager) - other port program does not support- and baud rate 38400 - in fw update. ( or any other speed your adapter supports )

Use the STN Finder utility before updating https://www.scantool.net/scantool/downl ... finder.exe

Had the same issue.

I have switched off auto speed function. put 8mbps to my scanner I use FDT
shut down the engine
and ran the program again.

everything restored.

How long does it take to update IPC using Forscan in the 2.4 beta? I have ver. 2.4.0 20180421 and STN2120 interface.
