Hope you understand my not so excellent english
I have an ford mondeo mk3 2.5
Want to try it with an st200 ecu.
I havent got any keys for that st200 ecu.
Is it possible to programm the st200 ecu to use my normal keys from my mondeo? Or do i programm the keys on the st200 ecu so that i cant use then for my normal 2.5 v6 ecu?
pats programming mondeo
Re: pats programming mondeo
At the moment it is not possible to program keys with Forscan without a key that is already programmed in the PATS.
I am not sure if this is a restriction of the program or wanted to do not support car thiefs.
Does the ST200 use the same transponders as the mondeo mk3 (4D60 crypto transponder)?

Re: pats programming mondeo
Mondeo 3 has the same PATS function and as far as we know standard mondeo 3 keys (with blue transponder insert). Please correct us if we are wrong.rsharry wrote:Is it possible to programm the st200 ecu to use my normal keys from my mondeo? Advice how to program it using FORScan (in your case) sent by PM.
Right, this is some kind of anti-theft protection. However since v2.2.4 it is possible to program PATS in the situation described above, if user has 2 blank keys.rsharry wrote:I am not sure if this is a restriction of the program or wanted to do not support car thiefs.
