HI,

any idea why Remote start is not visible in BCMii on my Mondeo 2015 2.0 TDCI with Powershift?
Or programing the new key makes it visible?
Thanks.

Looked up the vehicle spec on car catinfo using vin number but I am now well confused as that says 433 mhz, however, I other sources say its 433.92mhz which is nearer 434 mhz, so wondering is indeed the 434 mhz key will work

Ive ordered a lincoln key fob with 433.92 mhz , arriving to spain in about 9/12 days you can wait and i will tell you if it works on my 2019 smax

PS: on my fob ive removed the battery and i can see a 434mhz , ive asked if 433,92 was ok and they said yes... Time will say , it costed me together with shipping 79€

Well, Lincoln Key arrived today (Ford style no longer available) and I have limited success, I have been able to add the key to the car using the centre console key tray and it now shows 3 admin keys. The new key will allow the car to start but only if it is placed in the key tray, the new key is not detected out of the tray, nor do any of the buttons on the remote work. Thought it might be the battery, do took that out, a rather thick 3V CR2450, volt meter says it is putting out 3 volts ........... have I missed a step or are the electronics bust in the new key?

Cheers

Hi Andy I still have not received my lincoln key, so far my original fob is marked 434 once here will report my results and make a video of the process as I think there is little info on how to add keys and of course set up remote start.

Programmed mine and it will start car but only in the centre console tray. the 'signal' is not being accepted by the car (existing fobs still work). I have checked signal pattern on a test rig thanks to help from fordsmax471 and the pattern is different but the frequency is correct. Again, with assistance from fordsmax471, I am trying some 'options' later today and will let you know if it works. Apparently, the option will disable all standard keys so only the Lincoln one will work, but it can be changed back, bit like a toggle switch but you need Forscan to flick the switch
