XL to Lariat cluster swap [Rear parking Assist disable? ]

Ok so I'm a little confused....do you have to do the swap with the same year model cluster? I tried swapping a 2013 lariat cluster into my 13 xlt and it still reset like that. Or do I need to get an 11-12 style cluster since I only have sync 1?

That's interesting... I was under the impression that if you have a 13-16 any 13-16 cluster would work. DO you have any DTC's present?
I don't think that the version of sync would matter. I have an XL which doesn't have sync and I placed a cluster from a king ranch in and didn't have any issues.

It was a while ago when I tried that but I had to put the old one back in for the time being so I dont remember if there was any DTCs I'd have to try it again to find out but my truck wont be home for a while it's getting hail damage repair

Hello so I got 2016 f350 xlt diesel and I got the cluster from f250 2016 and no errors but the 10 sec reset all the time. WhT do I have to do? Buy a 2011-2012 cluster ? Please help

I’m looking for a way to turn the park assist sensors off on my 2014 super duty. I’ve found it for a 2017 but I’m not sure it’s the same. The 2017 is:

Whew, I'm following this thread. I have a 2014 XL. I bought a 2012 Lariat instrument cluster, and a complete 2012 Lariat Instrument Panel with Instrument Cluster.

I'm thinking I may be able to get it to work with some module swapping, but not sure what to even swap. This may be a better place to trade clusters. I'm going to try both before I do anything else.

Curious about this as well. I have a XLT that I am putting the Lariat cluster in (both 2015MY) and it is resetting every 10 seconds. Haven’t had time to try disabling park assist or installing the as built data yet but plan on trying that tomorrow to see what it does.
