ARM v7 is architecture while Cortex-A9 is processor core model. Cortex-A9 is based on / supports / uses ARM v7 so whatever issue is in your case it is likely not related to architecture incompatibility.Freddy64 wrote:Got a question: I read on this forum that Forscan 1.0.1 supports currently ARM 7 processors only - do you have any plans to compile for ARM 9 architecture too in one of the next releases?
Reason is, I bought one of this nice Android China head units which utilizes a Cortex-A9 dual core processor but Forscan does not get installed

Re: FORScan Lite Beta for Android
Sorry for late reply. Actually architecture names are quite confusing. ARM7 and ARMv7 are not the same. ARM9 is actually ARMv5. Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ARM_architecture.
Currently FORScan is optimized for ARMv7. Anyway, yes we plan to add support for other (older) ARM architectures.

Can anyone tell me how I can view saved data on my android mobile onto my pc windows
Re: FORScan Lite Beta for Android
Txt and CSV formats can be opened by many software. As for FSL, you can open it in FORScan for WIndows (e.g. Dashboard,Open).
Re: FORScan Lite Beta for Android
I would like to report that on version 1.0.1 if I save a set (#1) of PIDs for later use, select a different set (#2) and reload set #1, after pressing the play button to start the capture, set #2 will automatically re-appear and be captured instead of those PIDs on set #1.
I hope my explanation is clear.
Regards.

Re: FORScan Lite Beta for Android
We are unable to reproduce the bug. We think there is a misunderstanding here. PID profile can be saved and loaded from the PID profile page. As for the Dashboard page, you can save/load live stream data from there. So if you opened a live data file with other set of PIDs, the PIDs for this set are loaded temporarily, just to show the live data properly. After you click Start, current active PID profile set is restored. This is correct behaviour (not a bug). If you need to load another set of Pids, you should open the PID profile screen and save/load from there.olopezm wrote:I would like to report that on version 1.0.1 if I save a set (#1) of PIDs for later use, select a different set (#2) and reload set #1, after pressing the play button to start the capture, set #2 will automatically re-appear and be captured instead of those PIDs on set #1.
