So to update the tcm you need vcm2,can you not do it with forscan?

Yes, Forscan for firmware, vcm2 is for keycoding

vcm2 wont code keys to cars passed 2010 they need the new 1040 1144 pats codes

vcm2 is able to do all key coding as long as it is a original box and not a china version vcm 2 can be used on all cars from 2000and up to now
but in 2010-11 ford went to online pats programming
