When one of the two FOBS is used, the 80 MPH limitation shows up on the screen. When the other FOB is used, there is no 80 mph limitation. I have tried the posted clearing procedure at least 6 times and have had zero success removing the admin key. My Key has never appeared under Settings and there is no way I am able to create another My Key.
Can anyone tell me what I may be doing wrong trying to clear My Key considering this is a Hybrid vehicle? I would just like to be able to see My Key in settings rather than only in the Information screen. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
you have 1 mykey and 1 admin key , the admin key is the master and dont add it as a mykey or you loose the admin key then your screwed, with the admin key goto my key setting and delete all my keys this will make all keys admin keys.
i am the same as you just a forscan user still learning .
The search function is there for a reason use it.

Thanks for your reply. I can't add any My Keys. All I can do is see My Key in the Information screen where is says 0 keys and 1 admin key. Even with the admin key in the car, there is no My Key anywhere in settings. All I want to do is get rid of the 80 mph restriction, which as I understand it, requires me to clear the 1 Admin key from the system.

the admin key is the master key and you do NOT want to remove this as it controls everything , it removes the my-keys and all setting ,people here want to remove my-keys not add them .they want their keys returning to admin keys.

But with my Admin key (master key as you mentioned), I have the 80 mph restriction. I have no My Key in settings and therefore have no way to clear or change anything. I can only see My Key in the Information screen, which says 0 My Keys and 1 Admin key. If I use the Admin key to start the car, then the 80 MPH restriction is there. If I use the other key, there is no 80 MPH restriction. But still no My Key in settings. Thus I can't create or change anything. I would like to be able to clear the 80 mph restriction when using the Admin key and see My Key in Settings.

Also when I choose the other IPC option I only get two options As well which are languages & track key Enable or disable. I’m losing my mind trying to disable MyKey. I have a 2014 GT PREMIUM. Any ideas on how to disable it?

I don't have the PATs option on forscan, I only have 1 key and the other key which the dealership said they didn't have when we got the car is set to an admin key. I am just sick of it and don't want to spend $300 on a new key that they say has to be totally reprogrammed.

I even tried taking my key apart starting the car without the fob part, with just the blade and trying it the keyless way by walking away from the car, and no go, I tried tin foil as well. The car just tells me no key detected and defaults to MyKey state
Turn key on (No Start)
Connect to car in Forescan (save vehicle profile)
Access programming and configuration
Access IPC Mod Config (As Built)
First back up original module Then
Reprogram the module configuration in IPC Mod (As Built)
Under Mod 720-02-01 Second box of numbers, change the middle two digits ONLY to 20
Example 2CE4 should become 2204
Write all
The module will rewrite the entire mod
Turn key off and then back to on (No Start)

To verify
Access programming and configuration
Go to ICP Mod Configuration (not as built)
Search using filter MyKey
Ensure all options for My Key are disabled
That completes process

Note: MyKey will no longer be available for the vehicle.

jaltman1151 wrote: Sun Jun 14, 2020 7:49 pm I accidentally enabled MyKey without having an admin key, and I wasn't able to turn the MyKey off. I went to the Ford dealership and asked that they clear the MyKey program. They said that the ONLY way to clear it was to get a new admin key made (at a cost of $350) and for me to clear the MyKeys myself. In doing so, they would make my current key fob obsolete, so I would be out $350 and essentially back to the same truck and number of keys that I had before. They also quoted that it would take them 3+ hours. I kindly left without having them touch my truck and found this thread on how to clear the MyKeys using FORScan. I have a 2018 F150 Raptor with a remote fob and was able to clear the MyKeys program in 5 minutes by following the steps outlined in this post. Thanks for the help!
Hi Did you manage to get an admin key back online after removing Mkey. I did the same accidentally removed the Admin key to a Mkey but i want an Admin key back

There is not an IPC module option for this vehicle showing in forscan (it is an option on my 2016 but not the 2013)

Any other ideas for how I can reset this, non remote start only one key.

SOLVED...

I got rid of the ELM327 and purchased the recommended OBDLinkEX and it loaded all of the modules and MyKey has been removed.
