i was trying to replace my mazda 2 BCM, first i checked the old BCM Module configuration and it show only one entry "Rain Light Sensor Illuminance Setting", i installed the new BCM came from a mazda 2 in UK(same model, hw/sw version) and checked the module configuration its the same showing only one entry.. i tried checking module as built configuration for both bcm and the entries are the same.. does this mean i dont need anymore configuration for the new BCM to work on my mazda 2? thanks

A shop with IDS on-line or FJDS with a subscription can write the new calibration.
https://www.motorcraftservice.com/diagn ... ountry=USA

Requires a J2534 programming device.
