Ford IDS

Post by kkehoe8501 »

Very quick and simple question, will the OBD Link EX work with Ford IDS? If so which option should I select, or what adapter is best for my vehicle, 2017 Ford Mustang GT Manual

IDS works with VCM I, VCM II, VCM 3, VCMM and VMM devices.

Clones are limited.

Ids only works with dedicated Ford hardware only.

FJRS which is the programming only software works on j2534 standard which looks like IDS.

FDRS works on j2534 standard also
