After being in touch with Forscan Moderator, he asked me to download another obd software to my Moto 6 phone. It downloaded ok but wouldnt connect to the Adaptor. Forscan thinks that the Adaptor is a Chinese clone. As it turns out its made in the US by Tacklife an extensive tool maker based in Levitown NY. Has anybody come across these tools, is the company a genuine US company or a Chinese company claiming to be a US company.

It is strange that the adaptor works with the tablet and now not with the phone. Its just handier for quick reference to use the phone.
