I have a 2020 Explorer XLT which has been imported from the US to the UAE. The radio frequencies are odd and the built-in maps are not available. I would like to change the region from the US to Middle East. I've attached the screenshot from my most recent scan of the APIM. What numbers/codes to I need to change in order to set the region to Middle East?

Start reading at the first post.
Your model may be more complex.
Visit a local dealer.
Ask to read the APIM part number is it works / fits your region.
With luck, the dealer can flash the vehicle with the correct firmware, language and maps.

I have already been to the dealer but they refused to do any changes.

Contact a smarter dealer.
Does the 2020 Explorer XLT exist in the UAE dealerships?
Find an identical model that operates in the UAE and capture its data.
Save it for review.

With ForScan, in both IPC and APIM set "Country Code" to your country, that is "PL".
You can also set ACM "Tuner region value" to "Europe" and APIM "Radio Tuner Type" to "RDS (EUR, APA, SA)" to be able to change frequency every 50 MHz.
And here's how to install EU maps to US Sync3: https://www.fordescape.org/threads/how- ... eu.123362/

Hello!
Do you need an internet connection to program a language package?
Thanks

You install languages themselves by installing particular software, maps etc - the packages include different sets of languages. Then you don't need Internet connection to configure/set them (is it through Sync3 or Forscan), but you need to have proper packages installed in the first place to have the language you want.
