we're a lot of people with the same isue in my19 and my20... IPC module is "untouchable" for now.
Waiting a Forscan update or some other solution for this.

i have an els27 cable, the machine is connected to a charger, the ipc module i see it, but when i try to write the firmware it freezes, the last time at 83%, i am using forscan 2.4 20200120 now, I find myself with the instrument panel completely off

and settings FORCE PROGRAM in the figure no.4
we adjusted the forscan connection settings all auto and auto-increase
we setup the OBD adapter baud rate 38400bps and FDTi dariver settings latency timer =1
battery charger 6amps ( good is 8-12amps )
after a successful upgrade load As Built original *AB factory configuration (download for Motorcraft site by VIN) write All (all blocks!) to the module. (optional-because the latest version does it automatically)
