I will check the label in the morning and let you know.
If memory does NOT serve me wrong - it is FMBA. 2006 TDCi 96 kW / 130 PS, 1998 ccm. By the way: Delphi injection system.

Well.... Sort of, kind of. You see: I used to work for Delphi as a software (embedded) developer for the past 20+ years. I have some knowledge in communication buses, etc. But I do not know the actual arrangement in my particular vehicle (never had access to any Ford docs to verify my suspicions).

Regarding the PID cyclic reads - the only thing I wasn't sure about was the multi-bus operations. I understand that querying on a single bus, if only the interface (that is: the bridge between any of the car's buses hooked up to the OBD connector) is fast enough, it will work nicely. I am not immediately sure how well such a device (the bridge interface) handles multiple communication buses (say: CAN and J1850 PWM and K-Line ISO 9141-2) simultaneously. As far as I can tell from the warning in Forscan - there could be issues with that (perhaps it is of real concern to those who use the interface with a mechanical CAN switch).
The data throughput is not really a problem for a relatively modern PC. This much is obvious to me, yes.

ok not sure if your car is hatch, saloon, estate/wagon.

the diagram below is for the DLC for the hatchback.

It is a hatchback. Thank you much! The diagrams are too small - not possible to read wire markings.

All of the pin numbers are on the diagram. I can see them using my cell phone.

Yeah, I can see those, too. But cannot enlarge to make them easy to read. The resolution is kind of low. Would it be possible for you to print out those two diagrams and share with me (if not here - then privately)?

Interestingly, the DLC does not show any connections to pins 3 and 11 (which are expected to be wired to the MS-CAN bus) in these diagrams. As we can see above, Forscan finds modules on that bus and can communicate with them.

If you still need the diagrams give me a shout I can probably email them to you or something.
