Thank you for your reply, unfortunately this file is the same as the file that Motorcraft has been giving me and doesn't seem to be containing any data

Agree, I have not been able to find one and have reached out for some assistance. No luck . I have read somewhere, can't remember where that the 2023/2024 MachE is the same as the 2023/2024 Ford Escape PHEV ....I have only enabled Global Open /Close, but the close will not work...I used the BCM, PDM, DDM, APIM module configuration option as I can't find the bytes information for the As Built

Bcm AS-Built option

Post by Smithy69 »

Hi all I hope this is in the right section .
I have a 2012 transit and when I connect there is no bcm as built option to click on .
There is for other modules just not bcm could this be because it has faults hence why I am changing the module ?
Tried a few version of forscan and I do have the licence version I'm just a bit worried about fitting the donor bcm if I can't write my vans data to it .
I do have all the data files downloaded already to go.
Many thanks

If you are the same smithy that posted over on the Face Book group,? then you have a Central configuration vehicle! Your image there (attached and it shows a very old FORScan version 2.3.25 Current is 2.3.64) shows a BCMii(Main) and an IPC(Backup) and in central configuration vehicle the majority of all configuration operations are conducted under engineering mode which will be in a drop down list at the top left of the BCMii configuration configuration screen! The IPC(Backup) will usually contain a backup under a similar drop down in the configuration dialog screen and can be used to extract the original configuration if the BCMii(main) is missing or corrupt!

To access these, "High lite" the BCMii(Main) and click the "Play" button and a tab should appear called "Central Configuration and Opening that tab should open to a dialog with a Drop down arrow on "Normal" list in the top left corner and should open a couple of engineering mode options! IPC(Backup) is opened in a similar way

Opening these will open a list of engineering configurations! Configuration changes will require loading a Secondary Boot Loader(SBL) (similar to firmware loading in calibration file changes which requires FORScan 2.4.16) which will need to be downloaded from the internet the first time! FORScan may have the SBL this vehicle requires in a Paid license Database(a box opens and will ask for a file number and if you wish to download)!

Hopefully this is the right place, currently assisting with a Focus MK4 with Sync 3.4 latest version.
As this is an ST Line we wanted to set the spash screen to ST Line which is an available option, however once selected and written nothing changes. So i tried Ford Performance to see if that works (works in my car) but again no changes. Any ideas why Sync 3.4 in the MK4 does not let you change the splash screen? I did get the clima button without any issues.
