hello
i would like to explain my situation and also get responce from pro-s.
i own 2018 fusion hybrid se
i bought key shown on photo
Screenshot 2024-05-14 171348.png
Screenshot 2024-05-14 171348.png (198.83 KiB) Viewed 8002 times
with is 434.2 MHz.
when key came i discovered my key is 315 MHz (my fusion is from USA)
key program is successful (originally i had only 1 key) now programed keys are (2) my original witch came with car and one witch i bought with remote start.
new programed key doesn't work it only starts car from emergency slot (confirmed).
then i enabled remote start options in BCM, IPC, SCCM, FCIM. also changed RTM xXxx from 1 to 2, still only 1 original key works starts and locks and unlocks doors but new remote doesn't.
i now thinking of buying new 433 RTM (GD9Z15607E) or i need 902 MHz key and 902 MHz RTM?
please if anyone had done on fusion hybrid se let me know what to do an stuck middle of nowhere.
Thanks in advance <3.

I am not an expert, hopefully someone more experienced will help, but my understanding is that you will need the 902 MHz key and 902 MHz RTM for remote start to work.

See this for a 2015 Edge which is very close to the Fusion. https://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/285 ... ent-209773

You're better off buying the correct FOBs and removing the "bad" ones since the car only supports 4 IAK remotes.
The right part number is 164-R8149/M3N-A2C931426

thats exaclty what i did
bought 902 5 button key fob same part number as you typed and also bought 902 mhz transceiver module
removed old keys program new ones configurated : BCM, FCCM, SCCM and IPC for remote start
and everything works as factory. its been a pleasure since then.

Ok lets start from scratch, what's the part number on your original key? Remove the key blank and the part number is on the end

hi if there were factory original remote start avalaible with fiesta "also with key start" then yes you should be able to do it
i didnot even tryied to get part numbers on fords website i searchet for 902 mhz rtm for 2018 fusion and 902 mhz remote start key for 2018 fusion and everything worked perfect.
i know some older fusion's had remote start with turn key. (also plenty videos on youtube). after remote start unlock stick key in and turn it to IGN ON.
worth trying.
