Re: Reprogramming used '14 Focus TCM for '12 Fiesta

I'm no expert but I would imagine your new TCM is likely not compatible. Sorry that I can't provide further advice. What makes you think the original TCM is faulty?

-Edit: Can you force program the Fiesta Calibration to the new TCM?

Tips: ensure your OBDLink EX cable is updated and your COM Port ...

Re: DDM Module firmware update - not visible

I have tried all versions including the latest 2.4.5.test20211107, with no change. Both my DDM and PDM are readable, I don't have any codes, but after an update they will not initialize and the only function I lost is the "auto up" on the front windows. I do not have a backup of the ASbuild data ...

Re: [SOLVED] IPC Firmware update won't start (also can't read asbuilt)

Is this vehicle specific? If not, how would I determine which file correlates with the background? Thank you

Re: V2.4 Request

What is going on with all of these requests? Can you all NOT see the link in the "FORScan v2.4.5 beta3" under announcements?

Re: Service Procedure Interrupted on MY2022 Maverick during write

Have any of you tried different latency and baud rates?
I can't speak to anything newer than my 2019 but I have found some modules seem to require different (usually faster) rates and a lower latency (1 or 2ms).

Re: 2017 Lincoln Continental Firmware/As-Build Data Request

It’s so frustrating because it’s the first time I didn’t have my backups in order…
I haven’t had a chance to mess with it further but I’m considering getting a year of Fords IDS to see if I can get further with that. I’ll update if I can figure anything out!

Re: 2017 Lincoln Continental Firmware/As-Build Data Request

So far I checked a few modules including the 3 that I’m having issues with and the Forscan “factory” loaded values line up with the Ford Service website download. I’m thinking with as many options as the Lincoln came with certain things must not match the configuration this car was in. Or something ...

Re: 2017 Lincoln Continental Firmware/As-Build Data Request

I’ll verify with the link tonight when I get home but isn’t that the same source Forscan uses? Forscan will populate data “Factory” as-build data but it doesn’t help the problem.

2017 Lincoln Continental Firmware/As-Build Data Request

I have tinkered with and successfully updated many modules but I’m having an issue with 3: DDM (Driver Door Module), PDM (Passenger Door Module), and the ACM (Audio Control Module). AND of course I replaced my computer and forgot to save my backups so I do not have the original As-Build data. The ...
